Privacy Policy Statement

This page is about the information we collect about you, and what we do with that information. If we modify our privacy policy, which we have the right to do, we'll post the new policy here. By visiting our site(s), you acknowledge that you've read, understand and agree that your visits here are governed by our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't visit our site(s).

Why we collect information
We wish to make each visitor's experience here as rich and rewarding as we can. To that end, we're interested in collecting both anonymous demographic information and such personal information as our visitors are willing to provide.

The information we collect
Typically the information we collect includes things like IP addresses, names, email addresses, street addresses, zipcodes, telephone numbers. These come from registration and subscription forms. For enrolled club members, we will also collect credit card information. And we may, on various survey pages, collect genders, ages, sexual preferences, professions, and income levels. Visitors outside the USA should be aware that personal information collected on our site(s) is stored and processed in the United States, and by submitting information, consent is being given to any required transfer of information outside the country of residence.

How we use the information
We use the information we collect to customize the content and/or layout of pages for each individual visitor, to display content and promotions that we think will interest the visitor, and to allow visitors to tailor their own experience when visiting our site(s). We also use the information to fulfill orders and subscriptions, to respond to customer service inquiries, to analyze traffic to our site(s), and to notify members, visitors, and guests about updates to our website if requested, or to contact them when necessary. Postal addresses are only used for payment verification and authentication. We do not currently contact anyone via postal addresses.

Our use of cookies
Preferences, pages visited, promotions shown, and access permissions can be stored in small cookie files sent to visitors' computers. Our site (and only our site) can then request the information in that specific cookie file to make it easier for the visitor to use the dynamic features of our site pages, without having to provide the same information again as they move from page to page. Using cookies allow us to tell visitors about new things on the site when they return, and it helps prevent the same visitor from repeatedly being shown the same banner ads or other promotions. Cookies can be turned off if a visitor does not wish to use them, but that may result in parts of the site becoming inaccessible to the visitor. (Please make sure your browser is set to accept cookies.)

Sharing information with others
We use all information only for our own interests, and to help improve the experiences our visitors and members have here. We maintain our own internal ad serving network, and we aren't in partnership with any ad serving companies. We do not currently share information about our visitors, registered users, or customers with other organizations for any purpose.

Legal disclosure issues
We may disclose your information in special cases if required to do so by law, court order or other governmental authority or when we believe in good faith that disclosing this information is otherwise necessary or advisable, in order to protect ourselves or others.

Public forum privacy
Our site offers message boards, chatrooms, and other discussion lists and forums. Anything a visitor posts in these areas is, of course, public information from that moment on. We advise that all visitors exercise caution about what they choose to disclose. We are not responsible for what a visitor chooses to disclose in a public forum.

Site security
We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving important consumer data exchanged with our site, and we have firewalls and other systems to protect against the misuse or loss of this information. Credit and financial transactions are handled with Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") software, which encrypts the information you enter so that it is not accessible to others while in transmission to us.
